Psychology (B.A.) Academic Course Map
The Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology (PSYC) at CU ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ provides students with a fundamental understanding of the principles of human cognition, emotion, behavior, social interactions, and mind-brain relationships. The distinguished faculty in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience also teach excellent upper division courses in areas of expertise that include, but are not limited to, behavioral genetics, cognitive neuroscience, cognitive psychology, clinical psychology, child development, women’s health, and judgment and decision making.
The department promotes the understanding of human behavior by equipping students with the skills to evaluate and participate in diverse research programs that produce scientific, evidence–based results. ÌýPsychology graduates find rewarding work in a variety of careers including health and medicine, community service, law enforcement, government, education and labor relations. ÌýAfter completing their undergraduate degree many Psychology majors continue on to graduate or professional school and such careers as psychiatry, psychotherapy and school counseling.
Admission Requirements
