Corporations have varying recruiting timelines and start as early as August. Therefore, we strongly encourage enrolled students to set up an appointment with a Graduate Career Management team member soon after orientation concludes to discuss strategy and create an individualized timeline.

Partnership with the Michael A. Klump Center for Real Estate:

The Michael A. Klump Center for Real Estate provides direct access to the real estate community and Leeds’ alumni network, connecting you with employers who know what you’re capable of as a graduate of the MS in Real Estate at Leeds. The Center develops industry-sought skills through mentorships, networking events, recruitment fairs and case competitions.

Key Job Skills Required:

• Strong financial analysis and underwriting skills, including detailed discounted cash flow analysis utilizing Excel and/or Argus
• Ability to analyze and implement complex financial models and structures and evaluate the corresponding risks
• Market research
• Project management
• Ability to navigate investment/development opportunities through a multitude of public and private steps for successful completion of economic goals and objectives
• Exceptional interpersonal communication, presentation and relationship-building skills, i.e. the ability to effectively communicate with internal committees, partners, brokers, attorneys and consultants
• Analytical and presentation experience including, but not limited to: Excel, Argus, Yardi, CoStar, and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Critical thinking, problem solving and analysis skills
