Jo Axel is a Junior majoring in History with minors in Spanish and Korean. Their historical interest lies in the connection between art, mostly music and film, and socio-politics. Jo's current project focuses on Mexico from the 1920s through to the 1940s. As an avid musician themselves, Jo is invested in the relationship between historical tradition and modern experiences. This year, Jo is acting as the Editor-in-Chief of theÌýColorado HistorianÌýjournal and the President of the History Club. Their hobbies include reading, cooking, skiing, and scuba diving.
