Whether you're navigating a conflict, facing a difficult decision, or simply need a confidential sounding board, the Ombuds Office is here to help. Meeting with an Ombuds is free, voluntary, and available to all CU ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students, faculty, and staff.
Ombuds Office Hours of Operation (Monday - Friday):
9:00 AM -12:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM MT
Please note we operate remotely on Fridays.
How to Schedule a Consultation
To schedule an appointment, please call 303-492-5077 or drop by during our hours of operation. We are located in Suite 484.
Appointment Information
Consultations typically last 75 minutes.
Consultations are available:
- In person

- By phone
If you have accessibility or accommodation needs, please let us know when scheduling your appointment.
Who Should Schedule?
Consider making an appointment if you are experiencing:
- Conflict with another student, faculty member, staff member, or supervisor
- Communication challenges
- Academic or workplace concerns
- Questions about university policies or procedures
- A difficult conversation you aren't sure how to start
- Team or group conflict
- Concerns about fairness or respectful treatment
- Uncertainty about your options
- A situation where you'd simply like to talk something through with a neutral third party
Preparing for Your Visit
You don't need to prepare anything before your meeting.
However, it may be helpful to think about:
- What happened?
- Who is involved?
- What concerns you the most?
- What outcome are you hoping for?
- What questions would you like answered?
